Two Suffolk pubs have reopened their doors just weeks after closing suddenly.
The Eel's Foot at Eastbridge and The Bell in Middleton shut earlier this month after the company that owned the tenancy ceased trading.
Adnams, which owns the freehold of both venues, has confirmed the venues will reopen their doors at 6pm on Thursday evening.
Fifteen jobs have been saved as part of the reopening.
Nick Attfield, hospitality director at Adnams, said: “Our tenant at The Eel’s Foot, Eastbridge and The Bell, Middleton had to cease trading nearly two weeks ago. It has been a complex process, but we’re pleased to say that Adnams will be reopening both pubs today (Thursday 28th) at 6pm.
"This speedy turnaround means that we can re-employ the pub teams, who are looking forward to welcoming back their local communities and visitors in time for Easter.
"It also puts us in the best possible position to find great new tenants who will become the next custodians of these iconic pubs - and for which we already have received lots of interest.”
The Eel's Foot is popular for its music nights, in particular its traditional Suffolk folk music.
However, it is perhaps best known for its proximity to Minsmere nature reserve. People visiting the area to see wildlife often rent out its rooms.
Mr Attfield said last week: "I was at the Eels Foot today to check up on a few things and while we were there some birders turned up and were very disappointed to find it closed at lunchtime.
"They are places that bring the people of Middleton and Eastbridge and Theberton together - and they're very important in that and for the people who work in them."
