An award-winning holiday lettings company is branching out and launching a new estate agency business.

Best of Suffolk, which has grown year-on-year since directors Alex and Naomi Tarry founded the company in 2006 to more than 260 holiday properties, is opening Best Estates on Aldeburgh High Street.

Mr Tarry said: “We are delighted to extend the range of services that we can offer and to be joining the East Anglian estate agency community.

“At Best of Suffolk we have developed an expertise in property marketing and have extensive property development experience, so this is a natural progression for us.”

Mrs Tarry, who is also chairman of Aldeburgh Business Association and former East of England Businesswoman of the Year, said: “This is an exciting new venture for us, and our aim is to be the best in the business, by being innovative and creative and utilising the latest industry innovations and technology.

“We’re currently recruiting for roles in the new business and welcome applicants who have relevant experience and have passion for what we plan to achieve.”

Matthew Piercy, treasurer of the National Association of Estate Agents Suffolk and who has been selling houses from Aldeburgh for 10 years, will manage the new Best Estates office in Aldeburgh, which is due to open its doors in the spring, with an experienced team of estate agents.
