A budding restaurateur has received national recognition for her enthusiastic service.
Pille Partel, from the White Lion Hotel in Aldeburgh, made the final stages of the UK Restaurant Manager of the Year award, which involved a testing set of assessments and competition from staff at prestigious restaurants.
The assistant restaurant manager said: “I love working in hospitality, it’s such a fun and dynamic industry where hard work makes a real impact on the impression you have on your customers.”
General manager Peter Osborne said: “Making it to the final 18 out of hundreds of applications shows what an achievement it was to get so far. We’re really proud of her.”
