Towards the end of last year bosses at the Woodbridge Antiques Centre, in Quay Street, asked customers to vote for them in the Britain’s Best Antiques Shops competition, which is organised by BBC Homes & Antiques magazine and Antiques News & Fairs.

They have now made the shortlist of five in the Best Antiques Centre category.

The winner will be announced by TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp at the Bath Decorative & Antiques Fair on March 8.

Woodbridge Antiques Centre was opened in November 2007 by Natalie Smith. It sells a range of items from specialist dealers.
