Recycling company Eastern Waste Disposal (EWD)is going pink for 2014 to support and raise money for Cancer Research UK.

One of EWD’s skip lorries and one of its tipper trucks have been painted pink to mark the year-long campaign, with the company making a donation for each skip delivery and for each delivery and collection by the tipper.

EWD’s Cancer Research campaign comes after the successful completion of traning for a guide dog, Edward, who was sponsored by the company. Edward has now been placed with an owner to provide assistance.

The Brightlingsea-based company will be recording the progress of the Cancer Research UK campaign with monthly updates on its webiste at www.easternwastedisposal.co.uk .
