Skylight manufacturer Sunsquare has launched a new office and showroom in Dublin.

Skylight manufacturer Sunsquare has launched a new office and showroom in Dublin.

And it is also investing £250,000 in new machinery to increase capacity at its factory in Kempson Way, Bury.

Justin Seldis, managing director, said: “Although our products have been used for architectural projects across the globe, our new Dublin office and showroom is our first outside the United Kingdom and shows how much we have grown as a business.”

He added: “Even though we are only half-way through the year, it’s already been a fantastic 2014 for Sunsquare. Our sales are up significantly on this time last year, and our expansion is to keep up with the escalating demand for our quality products.

“Being the first skylight company to be BSI certified was a landmark for us, and has cemented our world-leading position. On top of that, Grand Designs Live London 2014 was our most successful show ever, generating hundreds of enquiries for some fantastic projects.”

Sunsquare is the first skylight maker to receive BSI certification for its products.

The British Standards Institution (BSI) has verified Sunsquare’s SkyView, Aero, Horizon and Pyramid skylight products for their air permeability, watertightness and wind resistance.

A total of 31 care providers have been selected as finalists for this year’s Suffolk Care Awards.

Tourists jetting to the UK “in their droves” to take advantage of the weak pound could spend up to £2.4bn on our high streets this summer.
