ONE YEAR ON: Rachel Ducker, East of England Young Businesswoman of the Year, is celebrating the first anniversary of her business, Apparition Marketing and Design

AWARD-winning businesswoman Rachel Ducker is celebrating the first anniversary launching her own creative agency.

Ms Ducker, 23, who was named Young Businesswoman of the Year at the East of England Businesswoman of the Year event earlier this year, began by working from her home and now, a year on, has a studio in Halesworth and an office in Bury St Edmunds.

Her business, Apparition Marketing and Design, helps businesses of all sizes with marketing, PR, website and design solutions.

As a celebration of her first year in business, she is holding an event on Saturday, May 8, from 10am to 4pm, in the courtyard of her studio grounds at Miles Ward Court, just off the Market Place in Halesworth, to help the Halesworth Town Centre Group fund this year’s Christmas lights in the town.

The event will include a “mini market place” with produce and services from local businesses, live entertainment, refresh-ments, plus free “health checks” from Apparition for local firms.
