Healthcare Homes, based at Langham, near Colchester, has purchased the Park House Nursing Home in Peterborough.
The deal takes Healthcare Homes’ portfolio of residential and nursing homes across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Bedfordshire to a total of 24, with a total of 1,079 beds.
Park House, which has been acquired from previous owner Allan Waller, who has retired from the business, provides nursing care for up to 52 older people, including those living with dementia.
David Bates, chief operating officer of Healthcare Homes, said: “We are extremely pleased to complete the purchase of Park House Nursing Home as it really has an excellent reputation in the local area for delivering high quality nursing care, in a premium home-from-home setting.
“We look forward to working with the team to continue delivering high quality nursing care to people from across the Peterborough area.”
The purchase was completed on January 18, for an undisclosed sum.
