Stokes Sauces, based at Rendlesham, including its award winning Real Tomato Ketchup, will be available in more than 200 Waitrose stores.

The company has already been enjoying a successful relationship with the supermarket name, with its ketchup, brown sauce and a variety of preserves being stocked in limited branches in the East Anglian region.

Customer response has now led to the nationwide rollout being introduced for 2012.

Stokes founder, Rick Sheepshanks, said: “We are delighted to be launching our products throughout the UK in Waitrose stores. The coming year is set to be a busy one for our team, with many more great developments set to unfold for Stokes, so this nationwide rollout fits perfectly with that vision.

“At Stokes we believe that food should be honest, clean and of course taste delicious – a principle that is reflected by Waitrose. We look forward to progressing our relationship with Waitrose over the coming months and years.”

Stokes has enjoyed a successful year, and has made alliances with brands such as Jamie Oliver’s Jme and brewers Adnams and St Peter’s Brewery.

Stokes Real Mayonnaise, Real Tomato Ketchup and Real Brown Sauce will be available in Waitrose Stores nationwide from this month.
