DEVELOPERS behind the proposed Walton Green superstore and homes project at Felixstowe have revealed a glimpse of what the scheme could look like.
The partnership – landowners Trinity College, Cambridge, and Tesco – have issued computer-generated images showing the 30,000 sq ft supermarket from the car park, and the view of the café and part of the community building from Walton High Street. Plans for the 30-acre scheme are expected to be delivered to Suffolk Coastal council within a few weeks.
Consultation on another superstore – on land next to the town’s railway station – is already under way.
Matt Hill, of Tesco corporate affairs department, said: “We’ve worked hard to design a store which reflects the Walton area, creating a light, bright and airy environment for shoppers.”
