The 2016 EADT/EDP Green 100 showcases the regions leading businesses and organisations making their mark in sustainability.
The EADT/EDP Green 100 is a celebration of those businesses in Suffolk and Norfolk which are leading the way in sustainability.
This year we have recognised 100 businesses from a range of sectors and industries across the region for their work over the past 12 months.Businesses were selected from submissions & nominations, using the key criteria:
- Businesses or organisations which have demonstrated innovation or growth through the adoption of sustainable procedures, products or services;
- Businesses or organisations working with partner companies to ensure the adoption of green/sustainable processes into their supply chain;
- Businesses working in the "green economy" producing innovative products and services to help customers become more sustainable.
On October 16, a celebration event was hosted at Orbis Energy Centre in Lowestoft, with many of the businesses in attendance.
Speakers at the event included Dr Steve Mannings, Head of Environmental Planning for Sizewell C, EDF Energy, Nuclear New Build, David Barker MBE, Chair of Suffolk, Greenest County, Anna Martin, Groundwork Suffolk & Norfolk and Iain Dunnett, New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership.
If Green 100 businesses would like to submit stories for consideration within the EADT, submit them here.
