An electrical goods supplier has expanded its Midlands base with a substantial investment in a new premises.
Hughes Trade, a division of East Anglian business Hughes Electrical, has moved to a new 6,500 sq ft site in Leicester which has allowed it to expand the range of products and services it offers.
The new branch will also be home to its commercial arm, which covers the hospitality, care and education sectors, with much greater space for spare parts and repairs as well as central training facilities.
Hughes Trade general manager Paul Chisnall said the business was 'delighted' to have moved and added there was extra room to grow.
Hughes Trade has branches in Ipswich and Colchester as well as its Norwich head office.
Hughes Electrical is a member of the EDP/EADT Top 100 list of largest companies by turnover in Norfolk and Suffolk.
