Cathy Frost’s Ipswich unique card and gift shop Love One has been selected as a regional finalist, in the Greats - the Gift Retailer Awards 2018.

Love One, in St Peter’s Street, is a beacon among the independent traders in Ipswich, with Cathy celebrating her 10th anniversary in business last year.

Last year, too, Love One was a finalist in the RETAS 2017 - the UK greeting card retailer awards.

Cathy is a champion for Ipswich as a retail destination, and for the business community in The Saints area in particular.

Other shops in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and Norwich are among the regional finalists in the latest Great Awards - shortlisted for independent gift retailer of the year, East Anglia,

And another Ipswich card and gift shop, Bromley & Co, is also a finalist in The Greats - within the best newcomer South and Wales region category.

Cathy Frost said: “I am very excited to be on the shortlist for this award. With challenging times on the High Street it is great to get some recognition for good practice.”

The Great Awards 2018 take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Mayfair on May 17, when the winners will be revealed.

The awards are in their 16th year and intended to recognise and reward the UK’s very best gift retailers.
