I want to complain about this content:

  • @Ips Ent - Move the market away from town? madness! People don't travel to places to see residential buildings whether occupied or not, it's irrelevant. People visit to go to galleries, eat, drink, view scenery, visit and see historical buildings or go to theatre - the waterfront ticks many of these boxes. Whilst some roads are private they are open to the public and i don't see why it would be in the interest of the University not to allow people to walk through it. I agree IBC should buy the Island and turn it into a park and tourist attraction with some other uses as well. As for the wine rack not being safe? Well do you really think someone would have bought it a cost likely to run into millions without checking that first? The verdict from last year as detailed in the Ipswich Star was that is WAS SAFE, not that it wasn't. So i'm not sure where you read that. Let's give the buyer some credit for having brains enough to work out if it's a viable venture - they are a local firm so it's not like they don't know about the history of the wine rack
