SUFFOLK businesswoman Rachel Ducker has been named among the winners at a national awards event run by networking organisation Ladies at E11even.
Rachel, who was crowned East of England Young Businesswoman of the Year in 2009, less than a year after launching her first business, Apparition Marketing and Design, picked up the Business Woman of the Future title at the Ladies at E11even Business Woman Awards, sponsored by NatWest and held at Sandown Park on the Isle of Wight.
She has also been nominated as a finalist in another major national awards scheme, with interviews taking place this week and the result due to be announced in early December.
Besides her original venture, she also now runs two other businesses – Time 2 Shine, which mentors young people starting up in business, and Apparition Music Productions, an independent record label.
Rachel also mentors outside of her businesses as a volunteer for the Suffolk Education Business partnership.
