Tipi and sailcloth tent business Events Under Canvas moved to its new home in Capel St Mary on Friday, April 13, ahead of its first showcase event on Saturday and Sunday (April 14 and 15).

The firm welcomed around 120 guests on Friday night including local business people, staff, friends and family who enjoyed a few drinks, food provided by Gather & Feast Events, and music from The Sax Walker.

It was a chance for founder and managing director Jenna Ackerley to say thank you for the support of staff and suppliers as the company marks five years in business.

The showcase weekend proved a big success, with around 25 local suppliers joining the business over the course of the weekend.
