Logistics group Pentalver is to introduce software developed by Suffolk-based Fargo Systems

NATIONAL logistics company Pentalver Group has chosen Suffolk-based software specialist Fargo Systems’ TOPS package to manage its UK haulage operation.

Fargo, based at East Bergholt, specialises in systems for the shipping and transport sectors, with TOPS offering full management control from an initial transport order through logistics resource planning to invoicing, plus a fleet management module.

Fargo director Andy Miller said: “It is a very exciting project for Fargo Systems and Pentalver and one where we can deliver huge benefits. We are absolutely delighted that Pentalver Group has chosen to work with us.”

Pentalver is a major provider of container services in the UK, with facilities at sites including Felixstowe, Tilbury, Southampton and Cannock.

“We can easily report on scheduled jobs, completed jobs and the status of current jobs – all instantly and with up to date information.”
