The organisers of a new business exhibition taking place next March have already had to start a waiting list after all but two stands were reserved within days of going on general release.

Five stands at Stowmarket & District Chamber of Commerce’s first ever Mid-Suffolk Business Exhibition were booked on October 2, the first day bookings were opened to non-members.

The event, taking place on March 21, 2018, from 9am to 1pm, is being held at The Mix in Stowmarket to give small firms across central Suffolk an opportunity to showcase their products and services.

Stowmarket & District Chamber chairman Allan Scott said: “I’m delighted to see such a positive – and rapid – response to this important new venture.

“It shows just how vibrant small business really is here in the heart of Suffolk, and I look forward to seeing all our exhibitors at what I’m sure will be a successful and memorable event.”

Sponsorship opportunities remain available. Anyone interested should call exhibition co-ordinator Danny Cuff 01449 721599 or email danny@gippingpress.co.uk.

He said: “The response has been fantastic and really shows the hunger in the Mid-Suffolk business community to showcase their skills. This event really is going to be a great opportunity for sponsors to put their company in front of this community and gain some very positive exposure.”
