College expands within IP-City centre

If you want office space in one of the most desirable commercial developments on Ipswich Waterfront you will have to hurry.

With the signing of a new lease with West Suffolk College, the IP-City building is now 97% let.

The college is expanding its training operations at IP-City.

Previously occupying 1,000 sq ft, it has now boosted that six-fold with an impressive 6,000 sq ft of office space, leaving just a 1,000 sq ft suite available.

Ginny Idehen, West Suffolk College’s head of business development said: “We have had a unit at IP-City for a few years and our customers have appreciated the excellent facilities on offer.

“We are now pleased to announce that we are expanding our facilities and offer to business customers in the Ipswich area.

“The expansion will allow us to offer a much wider remit of courses and training including an extensive Leadership and Management programme and provide us with the opportunity to further grow our apprenticeship offer and training for businesses.

“We already have an excellent reputation for delivery in the area and this expansion allows us to increase our market share and build on our relationships with key partners.

“The location of the site is perfect for attracting new customers and learners as it is a modern office offering easy access from the A14 and ample free parking.”

Another service offered by the Bath Street centre, which is owned by Ipswich Borough Council, is the provision of conference rooms and associated facilities.

The IP-City team can cater for up to 100 delegates with state-of-the-art technology, with good on site parking and easy access from the A14/A12.
