A fixture in Hadleigh for 15 years, this is an artisan butchery, priding itself on high-grade quality products.  Full knowledge of the provenance of the meat enables Andrew complete traceability back to individual farms, chosen because of the welfare, quality and flavour of the meats.  A traditional butchery with a large staff, including apprenticeship training to ensure that this craft is kept alive in the modern world.

A true traditional family butchers in East Ipswich, George prides himself on the fact that all meat is locally sourced, hung and prepared with care to ensure that the customer is able to purchase a quality product from Ipswich’s last remaining true butchers.  As well as the more traditional cuts of meat, George and his team also prepare a wide range of BBQ products and Hog Roasts.  Alongside the meats, George also sells fresh fruit, veg, freshly baked bread, chutneys, jams and marinades.

Sotherton Farm Beef & Pies, Halesworth
Following several generations of family farming, Sotherton Farm Beef, Pork & Pies is an extension of an existing business offering five different flavour beef sausages, four different flavour pies, mine, stewing steak, fillet and sirloin alongside the pork from their sons pigs.  All of the animals are reared here, and the meat is cut up on site and sold in the shop.  A true family business in all senses of the word.
