Best Tea or Coffee Shop
Entries are welcomed from Suffolk-based tea rooms, cafes and coffee shops who have no evening trade.
Judges will be looking in particular at the following:
- Using locally sourced produce
- Offering a selection of menus, containing a variety of dishes, including balanced healthy options and dietary consideration
- Presentation of food
- Quality of beverages - in particular the selection and presentation of teas and coffees
- Value for money
- Providing a warm and friendly welcome which exceeds the expectation of the customers
- Staff awareness of menus and as appropriate, an ability to explain the locality and choice of the ingredients
- Meeting customer needs, both in the production of the food and in the service area

More than just a coffee house, and located on Cumberland Street, Frangipani offers the chance to enjoy a relaxing break with their selection of hot and cold beverages and handmade and homecooked foods. Husband and wife team, David and Alison are both involved in preparing, cooking and serving the food and take great pride in local produce being used where possible.

Wild Strawberry Café, Woodbridge
This delightful shop on the Market Hill aims to create a warm friendly atmosphere.
