If you go down to the woods today you're almost certain to see Muntjac deer. They are solitary creatures which look very like large dogs and they can often be seen wandering around the forest. The "bear" was almost certainly one of these.

My bet is that its Black Shuck.

I am just getting ready to take my daily walk in Rendlesham Forest with my dog. I will take some Pink Salmon sandwiches with me and maybe some honey. These scents will be irresistible to bears, so if you don't hear from me again, I have most likely been mauled to death.

Please send help - I'm bleeding to death.
