an informative and exciting curriculum. Sites are focused on being
cross-curricular and interactive.

Developed
with Smart Board Teaching in mind.
USEFUL
TIPS
Obvious,
perhaps, but visit the site before you teach with it.
Some
of the images can take a while to download, but are worth the wait.
Be
selective and choose areas to teach with or get responses from.
Images
have copyright but we have an agreed licence that allows teachers
to download, copy and use images for educational purposes only.
Pages
are printable but be aware some are quite lengthy and you may get
more than you bargained for (just thinking of your ink cartridge
budget!) Try copying elements into word processor or a notebook
as an example of work.
Some
interactive images require java to be enabled. You can check your
browser to see if you have.
A
useful site that the BBC bands around is www.bbc.co.uk/webwise.
This explains how to enable such things as java on Netscape or Internet
Explorer.
If
you have any comments or feedback email Alex
Bedford or phone 01638 713001, Beck Row Primary School.
