What is RSS?

RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. RSS allows you to define your prefered content of a website and have it delivered directly to you. It allows you to have the very latest information at you finger-tips, without having to visit a website to keep up-to-date.

How do I start using RSS feeds?

To use RSS feeds you need a News Reader. Most News Readers access RSS Feeds using either a browser or a downloadable application. Once set up, you can display and subscribe to all the RSS feeds you want.

There are number of News Readers which you can download freely over the internet:

Windows

- Newz Crawler

- FeedDemon

- Awasu

Mac OS X

- Newsfire

- NetNewsWire

Web

- Bloglines

- My Yahoo!

- NewsGator

Loads more news readers at Google

OK, I have my news reader, what's next?

Simply decide which content you would like to receive and navigate to that page of our website. For example, if you want to keep up-to-date with East Anglian Daily Times news, then navigate to the News page and click the   button, located at the bottom of the page. You can subscribe to as many RSS feeds as you like.
