A MULTI-MILLION pound takeover of Ipswich Town was announced today. The club announced that it has been successful in attracting a significant investor whose investment will secure the financial future of the Club.
Who knows? Time will tell. One thing bothers me. This investment has come at a time when the team is beginning to show their quality and character, and I hope money doesn't disrupt this. I don't think we are short on the pitch anywhere except perhaps for an outstanding centre back. If the deal as reported only (only,listen to me!) involves paying £6 million to wipe out a £32 million debt, why did some of our wealthier supporters or board members not club together and step forward?
