Thomas Dekker EPO shock

Had to happen, didn't it? Just a couple of days ahead of the Tour a rider has been done for failing an dope test. Thomas Dekker has reportedly been chucked out of Silence-Lotto's team after a re-test of a 2007 blood sample came up showing EPO.

Dekker was riding for Rabobank at the time but left abruptly mid-season. Wonder why?

Still, it is good news for British rider Charley Wegelius, who gets Dekker's place and will ride the Grand Boucle after all. Every cloud...
