02/11/2007, 11:23 AM johnB Joined on 12/05/2007 Posts 19 Re: £44m takeover of Ipswich Town Who knows?  Time will tell.  One thing bothers me.  This investment has come at a time when the team is beginning to show their quality and character, and I hope money doesn't disrupt this.  I don't think we are short on the pitch anywhere except perhaps for an outstanding centre back.  If the deal as reported only (only,listen to me!) involves paying £6 million to wipe out a £32 million debt, why did some of our wealthier supporters or board members not  club together and step forward?    Report
