Middle East conflict imminent?
How strange that the mainstream "news" makes no mention of Iran having been cut completely off the internet. It's easy to verify this (as I write, at any rate) - simply click on this link.

Iran traffic is ZERO. Phone communications are also completely cut off. This has been the case for the last 3 or 4 days. A feeble attempt has featured in some outlets in which the cause of this blackout has been blamed on "Ship's anchors cutting the cable). Well, in fact6, 4 cables have been "cut". And the Egyptioan government has issued a stern denial that "Anchors" have anything to do with it.

Is anyone else heartily sick of being lied to by a media which is no more than the propaganda wing of government, of having celebrity breakdowns pushed at us as "news" while world war 3 potentially brews in the Gulf?

"Ships are not responsible for damaging undersea internet cables in the Mediterranean, Egypt's Government says. Two cables were damaged earlier this week in the Mediterranean sea and another off the coast of Dubai, causing widespread disruption to internet and international telephone services in Egypt, Gulf Arab states and South Asia. A fourth cable linking Qatar to the United Arab Emirates was damaged on Sunday causing yet more disruptions, telecommunication provider Qtel said.
Egypt's transport ministry said footage recorded by onshore video cameras of the location of the cables showed no maritime traffic in the area when the cables were damaged.
"The ministry's maritime transport committee reviewed footage covering the period of 12 hours before and 12 hours after the cables were cut and no ships sailed the area," a statement said.
"The area is also marked on maps as a no-go zone and it is therefore ruled out that the damage to the cables was caused by ships."

Re: Middle East conflict imminent?

I,d love to see the wars in Iraq,Afghanistan and the imminent war in Iran reported more,Especially the bits about the Iranians treating their people with such barbarity and draconian laws that it needs to be stopped.I,d love to see it reported more in the news that the Iranian war mongorer Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is declaring"Israel needs wiping off the face of the earth" and is preparing for war/hostilities etc.

I,d love it reported that Iraq is failing because of Al qaeda and various Islamist splinter groups,That these groups are using the Iraq rebuilding as an excuse to invade and dig in.They are the ones creating Sunni and Shia in fighting and religious hatred which is escalating daily.

The Islamist propaganda machine is in full speed ahead mode and it,s going a lot faster than the western worlds machine!!
