Web chat

What did you think of Derek Davis' webchat today? (You can read the transcript here: http://www.eadt.co.uk/content/eadt/webchats/derekdavis/ )

Was he right to downplay Darren Curie's international chances? And could Pablo Counago make more of an impact given the chance?

Will you be showing your support and getting a season ticket?

Re: Web chat

No disrespect to Darren Currie, but he's hardly international class. Pablo was indeed victimised and should have had more of a chance, particuarly when Scowie was here and obviously misfiring.

I would get a season ticket, but unless I want to travel long distances at expensive rates it ain't gonna happen! :(

Re: Web chat

I thought Derek was a bit harsh in his comments about TWTD. I have been a regular user of the board for about 6 years now and it is by far, the most-used of all the ITFC forums. I agree that because of it's popularity it does have an element of idiocy but these are thankfully in the minority. However, there is also a lot of sensible stuff talked on there and sometimes it makes it own news. The Ebay story you ran when someone from TWTD put the club up for auction, for instance? Or the fact that somebody from TWTD was the first to uncover the details about the investor who turned out to be dodgy and in doing so, better investigating his background than the club did. If one looks beyond the day to day banter then TWTD is a fine place to visit if you want to keep up with all things ITFC.

And no, I am not Phil or Gav!

Re: Web chat

To refer to fans as half-wits beggars belief.

I feel insulted by this.
