Superstar crooner Barry Manilow is set to be among the stars performing in Ipswich next year when Portman Road begins hosting pop concerts again.
The Ipswich Town stadium has not hosted a gig since the summer of 2010 when pop star Pink played to a packed house.
But 70-year-old Manilow - famous for hits including Mandy, Could it be Magic and Copacabana (At the Copa) - is believed to have agreed a date in the town as part of his 2014 tour.
Previous shows at the home of the Blues include memorable sets by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Elton John, Dire Straits, REM, Neil Diamond, Tina Turner and Rod Stewart.
It is understood that concerts have landed a profit for the club and they are looking to make every penny count as they prepare for the new financial fair play regulations.
