Scarecrow Festival at Halesworth

The sixth annual Halesworth Scarecrow Festival takes place throughout the town centre – take part in the treasure hunt and you could win a prize.

And you can also vote for your favourite creation.

The treasure hunt costs £1 per entry and you can get maps from Edwards in Thoroughfare and from Halesworth Library.

Wild and Wicked at Knettishall Heath, Thetford

Discover which animals are likely to be coming out for Halloween.

Session runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and are free of charge.

Monsters of the night at Foxburrow Farm, Melton

Follow a torch lit trail for spooky surprises in this great scary afternoon running from 4pm to 6pm.

The event costs £2.50 per person and places must be booked in advance.

Inside Out screening at IFT

See the Disney Pixar hit for just £3 each at the Ipswich Film Theatre, in the Corn Exchange.

Horrible Histories for Families - Starting at Ipswich Tourist Information centre

Run by the Ipswich Tourist Guides Association, the popular Horrible Histories walks show off the slightly more gruesome historical attractions within the town centre.

The walk leaves at 6pm and cost £4 per person.

Another walk takes place on Saturday, October 31. Places must be booked in advance.

Little Fort of Horrors, Landguard Fort, Felixstowe

Are you brave enough to venture into the fort after dark?

The night promises a abundance of spooky shocks and surprises as guests explore the tunnels at this famous landmark.

Live scarers will be on hand to create extra tension, and there will be live music and spooky entertainment.

Book to arrive at 7m or 8.30pm, no tickets on the door - event runs until 10.30pm. Over 14s only. Ticket Prices: adults £12, young people £10, family £40.

Halloween fest in Lowestoft

Experience Sspooktacular street theatre in the seaside town during this day-long Halloween extravaganza.

Under 12’s in fancy dress accompanied can follow the pumpkin trick or treat trail, or you can create creepy crawly crafts and enjoy the haunting yet BOOitful art display from Lowestoft College at The Britten Centre.

There will be a fancy dress Halloween parade, led by the very loud Samba band, The Beach Bunny and The Beach Patrol including Cantors Theatre School, everybody can join in the fun.

Events take place in the town centre between 9.30am and 4pm.

Alternatively, who not go along to one of the many firework displays taking place towards the end of the week.
