MOTORIST faced minor delays on the A11 after a car hit the central reservation this afternoon.

The accident happened in the southbound carriageway close to Barton Mills at around 3pm.

A Suffolk police spokesman said there was some debris which had affected traffic in the northbound carriageway.

He said no-one was injured but the Highways Agency was called to assess the damaged central reservation.

The road is now clear.
