A12: Traffic tailbacks at Kelvedon bypass after car crash

Traffic tailbacks of around 200 metres were still being reported at 9am today - two hours after a car crash on the A12.

Essex Police received reports of a single vehicle collision northbound between junctions 23 and 24 of the Kelvedon bypass at around 7am. Officers on the scene are currently guiding other motorists around the car involved.

There are no reports of the condition of the driver or passengers.

  • Mr Passmore our PCC should pass on his research and knowledge to the Essex PCC so that they have average speed cameras here too. The Highways agency should also recommend this as it should be the same for all places, not just Suffolk, that have an accident and cause delays.
