FIREFIGHTERS were called to a four vehicle collision on the A12 after a fuel spillage.

Three fire crews attended the incident on the A12 near junction 21 and 22 on the northbound carriageway, just before the Witham slip road. They were alerted to the incident at 4.40pm.

No one was trapped but firefighters made the area safe and cleared the road.
