A McLaren MP4-12C similar to the car involved in the Essex crash


A lane on the A12 was closed for three hours to allow the road to be cleared and the crash barrier to be repaired following a two-vehicle crash.


Police were called to the road near Ingatestone just before 11am after the crash between the McLaren supercar and the Citroen.

An ambulance arrived and both drivers were checked over but did not require hospital treatment.



  • Oh no!! I do hope the citroen can be repaired and put back on the road soon..... A great looking car the C4.... shame we weren't shown a picture of one.
