A lane of the A14 will remain closed overnight after a collision involving a car and a lorry.

Traffic is being restricted to one lane at the Stowmarket junction, where a car spun off the road and collided with the barrier before a lorry came to a standstill over the verge of the carriageway.

The lorry’s position over the sliproad led to the initial closure of the eastbound carriageway, delaying traffic on the approach to the A1120 junction.

Both the inside lane of the A14 and the sliproad will remain closed overnight. There were no injuries in the incident.
