Part of the A140 closed after a fatal crash yesterday has now reopened.

Two people who were travelling in a car died after the collision between their vehicle and a lorry around 8.30pm near Yaxley.

The driver of the lorry was treated for shock.

The road had remained closed until this morning while police carried out an investigation into the crash.

The number of fatalities from road crashes in Suffolk has now risen to five in four days, following collisions at Frostenden and Snape last Thursday.
