A14: Ice warning to motorists following several minor crashes

MOTORISTS are advised to take extra care on the roads this evening due to the icy conditions.
There have been at least five minor crashes on the A14 from Seven Hills through to Trimley St Martin and Felixstowe due to ice on the roads.
Police are advising motorists to take extra time and care and be aware of the dangerous conditions.
Officers are working with the Highways Agency to ensure roads are gritted and kept open.
There have been no serious injuries from any of the incidents but traffic on the A14 is moving slowly and backing up on the Orwell Bridge.
