A MISSING husky which caused havoc for motorists on the A14 yesterday has been found after straying several miles from its home.
Police, motorists and the dog’s owners had all been out searching for the husky, called Cody, on the busy road at junction 51, near Coddenham.
Cody was first reported to police at about 10.30am yesterday (Thursday January 4) when he was spotted running up the embankment of the eastbound carriageway.
Motorists stopped to try and catch Cody and police also received a call from the owners.
A rolling road block was put in place to bring cars to a halt.
Cody was then reported to have moved away from the road but he returned at 4pm.
He had been missing since Tuesday and his owners had searched for hours trying to find him.
He was eventually caught by a farmer in Creeting St Mary.
His owners said they wished to thank the police and members of the public for helping to catch Cody.
