Cassiefairy, as she is known to her several thousand subscribers, was highly commended in the retail and fashion category of the UK National Blog Awards 2014.

Cassie, who lives outside Aldeburgh, was thrilled with the win. She said: “It was a fantastic moment and a complete shock.”

Blog readers nominated Cassie for the award, which was then decided on by social media expert judges, who praised her writing style and attention to detail.

She started the blog more than three years ago and has since published 1,000 posts, one of which documents her award. Visit cassiefairy.com.
