Alpheton: Ford Transit crashes off road and lands in a field

A van has ended up in a field after a single-vehicle crash.

The incident happened just before 9am between Alpheton and Bradfield Combust.

A police spokesman said a Ford Transit had “flown over a hedge” and ended up in the field.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said they sent an ambulance and a rapid response care to the scene where a man in his 20s was complaining of chest and leg injuries.

He was assessed at the scene and taken to West Suffolk Hospital as a precaution.
