An appeal has been launched to help find missing teenager Mai Tai Luong from Long Melford.

Mai Tai Luong was last seen at around 3pm on Tuesday outside West Suffolk College, in Bury St Edmunds, where she is a student.

The 17-year-old is Asian and described as slim with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a red zip-up hooded jacket, black leggings, and a rucksack.

Suffolk police are concerned for Mai’s welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen her, or who has any information about her whereabouts, to contact Sudbury police station on 101.

A teenager who claims she was plied with drink and drugs by a gang of Ipswich men before they allegedly took it in turns to have sex with her has admitted she was “out of control” in the months leading up to the alleged incident.
