The East Anglian Air Ambulance had to be called after a teenage boy sustained serious injury at a Motocross track in Blythburgh.

The boy sustained fractures to his leg and is said to be in a stable condition. Dr Victor Inyang and CCP Rod Wells were flown to the scene within 15 minutes of the call and arrived on Anglia One 12.20pm this afternoon Sunday, February 16.

Following treatment at the scene Captain Steve Norris flew the patient and medical crew to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. It is understood he will require an emergency operation.
