An 11-year-old boy who went missing from his family home in Witham has been found safe and well.

Christopher Johnson’s father discovered his 11-year-old son was missing when he woke up at around 7am this morning.

It is thought Christopher had left home wearing only a pair of Ipswich Town football shorts.

However the young boy was later found safe and well in the town.

A man passed away at home after suffering a cardiac arrest in Colchester last night.

The police hunt for missing RAF gunner Corrie McKeague has been labelled “incompetent” by his mother, as an online campaign has raised more than £20,000 to hire a private investigator.
