A woman in her 40s was arrested today by detectives investigating allegations against care staff at the Old Deanery Care Village in Braintree.
She is the fourth woman to be arrested in relation to the probe, which was launched following a BBC Panaroma programme which alleged residents at the home were being mistreated.
The woman who has been arrested is from Braintree.
She was questioned by police and has now been released on bail until July while inquiries continue.
