Crews from Braintree, Halstead, Coggleshall and Frinton were sent to Armill Lift Trucks, in Crittal Drive, at about 5.50am today – the blaze involved a temporary building structure which was ‘100% alight’.

A hose reel and one jet and foam was used in the operation to bring the fire under control. It was extinguished by 6.50am.

A spokesman for the fire service said: “A joint police and fire service investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the incident.”
