An overturned lorry is causing delays in Braintree

A van has overturned in Braintree causing delays.

The incident happened around the Witham and Freeport Village Exit between Galley’s Corner and the Millennium Way junction, southbound on the B1018.

One lane is closed and police are currently directing traffic.

The collision happened just after 8am, and a white Mercedes Sprinter van, a red DAF truck and a blue Volkswagen were involved.

The van needs to be recovered and ambulance crews are currently attending.
