Brandon/Lakenheath: Serious accident on A1065 in West Suffolk

Emergency services were called to a serious accident on the A1065 between Brandon and Lakenheath at lunchtime on Sunday.

The accident involved a Volkswagen Golf and a motorcyle.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said the motorcyclist, from Hertfordshire, has been taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with life-changing injuries. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

There is currently no information on whether the driver of the Golf has suffered any injuries.

The road remains closed.
