UK Power Networks teams are attempting to restore electricity to homes in Thetford and Brandon

Several thousand people in the Thetford and Brandon area are without electricity this evening following a power cut.

UK Power Networks engineers are currently working on site to restore power to several thousand customers in the Thetford and Brandon area after a power cut was reported at 9.14pm. The cause is being investigated.

Meanwhile, in the Diss area, 360 customers experienced a power cut for 24 minutes. UK Power Networks engineers restored power by 10.14pm and are continuing to work on site to establish the cause.
