Two burglars who broke into a Brantham home ran off after being disturbed.

Nothing was stolen in the incident which happened in New Village between 1pm and 1.30pm on Monday.

Both men were white, aged in their mid-20s and of slim build.

The first offender had light brown coloured hair and was approximately 5ft 10ins tall, while the second had dark coloured hair and a thin moustache. Anyone with information should contact Det Con Suzanna Newell from Bury on 101 quoting HD/14/977.
